The Public Works Leadership Institute is a National APWA approved certificate program focused on management and supervision practices within all areas of Public Works. Topics covered adhere to a set of core areas of study which are based on local, regional, and state responsibilities or regulations. The content is designed to address the supervisory and management needs of current first-line supervisors and those aspiring to better leaders and supervisors. The full institute is 90 hours. Module 2: Management is a four day, 30 hour training that represents the second week in a three week series. Module Two will cover the following APWA approved units:
