Description
The Mission Statement for the South Florida Branch is to further the objectives of the National organization by being a public policy advocate for the infrastructure in South Florida and the primary gateway resource for public works education, knowledge Exchange and services.
To unify public works organizations and practitioners throughout Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties by providing leadership, developing educational programs and offering direction and support on public works issues to members, elected officials and the public.
The South Florida Branch meets four times a year with its members and have numerous executive board and committee meetings throughout the year. An annual golf tournament is organized every April, and it is held to bring members together from all municipalities in Broward, Dade and Monroe Counties and to encourage new membership and participation.
