The APWA Florida Chapter would like to recognize Garrett Woods for achieving his CPWP-M certification!

Garrett Woods serves as the Senior Business Manager for the City of North Port, Florida, a position he has held since 2021. In this role, he oversees the business operations of several critical divisions, including Solid Waste, Fleet Management, Facility Maintenance, Road and Drainage, and Engineering. Prior to joining North Port, he worked for the City of St. Petersburg’s Public Works Department, contributing to both the Water Resources Department and the Stormwater, Pavement, and Traffic Operations Department. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washington State University and brings a passion for public service, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction to every aspect of his work. A dedicated public works professional, he is also a proud husband and father of two.
