Module 2: Management & Public Trust
This three day, in-person, 30-hour training module focuses on skills with which Public Works leaders can build more cooperative workplace environments, make smart hiring decisions, and build bridges to public trust. Topics include conflict management, team building, interviewing skills, media & community relations, and understanding the legal issues unique to public management. This module represents the second 30-hours of the full 90-hour Florida APWA Leadership Institute however, modules do NOT have to be taken in consecutive order.
