The Public Works Leadership Institute is a National APWA approved certificate program focused on management and supervision practices within all areas of Public Works. Topics covered adhere to a set of core areas of study which are based on local, regional, and state responsibilities or regulations. The content is designed to address the supervisory and management needs of current first-line supervisors and those aspiring to be better leaders and supervisors. The full institute is 90 hours.
No minimum experience or education level is required. In order to earn the APWA Certificate participants must complete all three modules in the same year.
Doors open at 7:30 am. Instruction begins at 8 am and ends at 5 pm. Lunch break is 12-1:30 pm. Coffee and snacks are provided. Meals are not included in this training.
